Gastrointestinal (GI) Disorders

It should be no surprise that diet can be a major factor in gut health and comfort. Whether you suffer from a gastrointestinal disease like celiac, food intolerances, or other GI discomfort, adjustments in diets can often help with unpleasant gastrointestinal symptoms and may be vital to maintaining adequate nutrition. A registered dietitian can provide medical nutrition therapy for certain diagnosed conditions or help identify triggers for specific gastrointestinal symptoms. Assistance from a registered dietitian for a GI disorder is often most successful after a diagnosis has been given. If you have new or concerning symptoms, we recommend speaking with your doctor first.

Some of the GI disorders we specialize in are:

- Crohn's Disease
- Ulcerative Colitis
- Celiac Disease
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Diverticulitis
- GERD
